This is the second stage of the formula 1 car where i decided to change the style of the car. When i was looking at it i really didnt like the block colours, so then i decided to use the pen tool which allowed me to add geomatry to a line. Using this i outlined certain areas of the car.

Intentions
My intentions for this project is to create a futuristic clockwork style city using the influence of tron legacy. I came across this script called GhostTown where it allows you to create a shape using nurbs and linking them together. Then by clicking two buttons it creates an extruded urban environment where you can edit the buildings and texture them. Using this i was going to model a city around a watch so when the camera pans out it will be a working watch. The only problem with this is the GhostTown script is quite buggy and crashes sometimes so i will have to look at other ways of achieving this.
Tron Line
After looking at different ways of mapping. I found that i could use the line tool and by changing the rendering settings off the line i could create a really thin cylinder. What i plan to use this for is outlining the different areas i want neon around and applying them to the mesh of the car.
Tron F1
This is my first attempt at trying to create a tron themed scene. I have used four different textures (orange neon, blue neon, white neon and finally gloss black). After looking at this i woiuld change a few things i.e. the tire gloss would change to a standard Tyre texture (rubber) and i would look more into the neon lights and see if i can map them differently.
Tron Influence
This film has influenced my light and time the most. I love the neon lights and how futuristic it makes a scene look.
Light and Time Test 3
This was my first attempt at experimenting with light trials. My intention for this was to use the disco ball and then take a picture and hopefully the light trials would around the room. I didn't manage to achieve this but ne3xt time i need to change the camera settings and experiment a bit further.

Light and Time Test Two
This is my second test for the light and time brief but with this one it was created in 3ds max. This is a number of spheres textured with a neon blue light and glow. I then used an emitter which sent a number of these spheres towards a direct facing camera.

liquefy Filter Test
For this I took the previous picture of the slit scan and edited using the liquefy filter within Photoshop.
Slit Scan Image
This picture was using the Slit Scan app on the iTunes store. To create this i used my wireless routers LEDs and moved it up and down while the app scanned the image and this was the result.
Light and Time Test One
This is my first test which was taken using my phone. As I was doing this I noticed the hole acts like an auto focus.
